Set a Goal on Monday (Kim)

On days when it seems that no matter what you do or say your kids are fighting, the house is a mess, the kids aren't dressed and it's 1:00, you wanted to have a very productive day of school and no one has cracked a book yet (it's 1:00 remember), you have a million things to do and no time to do it in and no matter how hard you work nothing seems to get done. You feel like pulling your hair out and sending your kids to boarding school right down to the 2 year old, and you're praying your kids will forget about the times you were a terrible mother. On days like that (today for me) um, um,............................ I have no advice for you other than to hang in there. That is my goal for the week, to hang in there.
If would you like to set a goal for the week you can leave a comment and tell us what it is. I would love to hear your goals and "Hang in there". That's what I'm doing.

Since most of my days are "Hang in there" days. I don't feel at all guilty in posting this comment! I had a "WOOHOO" day! I actually completed a full interview with each kid!!!!! After a year of trying........I did it! I even got a "thanks mom for helping me plan my school!"
Now for the follow through....

By the way.....We didn't start until 11:30.......The kids fought nonstop.........The toilet doesn't flush.......The laundry is still piled high........The house reeks of vinegar thanks to Tyler's science experiment.......

I guess it's all in the perspective.
